We would like to introduce you to this year's Grand Marshall Mrs. Denise Azevedo. Mrs. Azevedo started her career at Gustine High School by helping out coaching volleyball, as soon as she got out of high school. She then started coaching the JV girls Volleyball team at GHS in 1982. She continued coaching Volleyball for about 15 years. She also coached JV Softball. She has been in the District for 34 years and at Gustine High School for 25 years. For several years she als...o coached Junior High Volleyball and Softball. She has been coaching Girls and Boys Golf for many years at GHS. In addition to sports, she started the Renaissance club at GHS in 1999 with Barbara Azevedo and serves as the club advisor for Club Med. She has also served as ASB advisor. She has also been a new teacher mentor for the past 20 years. We want to thank Mrs. Azevedo for always being there for all of us and for all her years of dedication and time to the students here at Gustine High School.
