Congratulations to our only competitor on day 2 Jaden Garcia winning taking second place and winning his first national medal! Also congratulations to the nanka team with a great performance.

Day 2 of the USA Judo Jr Olympics All I can say is the Lil Guerreros did amazing this weekend. We have worked so hard to compete at this tournament and we showed up. Not everyone placed but I know everyone did their absolute best to reach these results. Some had it harder then other winning or losing but I know we had a great learning experience no matter the outcome. We had some Guerreros history this weekend with Karmella Narvaez taking two gold in one day. She has gone ...two years not winning a match at any USA Judo nationals to winning a two golds! Great achievement and it shows hard work and perseverance pays off. Mia Delgado places silver in her second division of the tournament coming away with two silvers for the two days. Victoria Gallegos also competed in two divisions and came home with two thirds. It is not easy to fight two divisions at any tournament and they persevered and placed in both. I’m looking forward to next week in New York and seeing what the results will be.
