As we age and the need for care becomes more of a reality, nothing will give you more choice and control than having a Long-Term Care (LTC) plan in place. Here's why: 1. Owning an LTC policy increases the chances of you staying in your home for care. (A recent study by a major LTC insurer showed that over 65% of their first time claims were for in-home care.) 2. LTC insurance provides a plan that reduces or even eliminates the financial burden on family members when you need ...care. 3. LTC insurance not only pays for care in your home, but in assisted living facilities and nursing homes. You'll avoid the need to tap into - and possibly deplete - your family savings to pay for high cost care. 4. LTC policies provide a way to receive quality care. Isn't it nice to know you'll be able to afford the best care possible? 5. Having an LTC plan in place and avoiding crisis management provides many people with peace of mind. 6. Siblings in their 50s and beyond will still argue about many things concerning their parents' care. A good LTC policy will satisfy the family more often with coordinated care, all planned out by the beneficiaries and/or their families. 7. Many plans do not offer coordinated care, something most will want when a claim is filed. We will be sure you know what you DO and DON'T have in your policy. Bonus: Many carriers have diverse types of LTC insurance. An LTC Specialist can make it easier for you to find a plan that fits your needs and often types of plans that would be difficult to find on your own. Many plans have great benefits but are not advertised. Contact me for further information!

Have you ever had a friend or family member who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's or dementia? Advanced memory care facilities are not covered in Medicare unless certain criteria is met, namely indigence. Then you may not get the choice of facility you would like. Long-Term Care insurance is a way to pay for this type of service, but it's not affordable if you wait too long. An ideal age would be 50-60 years old to shop for this care and fit it in the budget now because care could cost $5000-8000 per month if a diagnosis occurs and you can't keep the parent in your home. Thinking in advance is critical when thinking about care that is very specialized. If you need a quick consult on Long-Term Care insurance, please contact me!

In the next five years, the financial services sector is going to be short 200,000 representatives. The vast majority of those will be independently contracted representative positions. We live in the gig economy, if you keep your options open, I'd be happy to discuss this with you. Message me here, call at 951-254.3398, or email me at [email protected]. Note from a client: I just wanted to thank you. Had I not known you or had touch with you through FB I'm not certain if I would have signed on for Health Insurance this year (mostly due to a complete uncertainty of how it all operates these days). But I am so grateful for your help. I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with breast cancer after having my first mammogram in 3 years. I'm having surgery tomorrow and I'm thanking the Lord for Health Insurance. Just wanted to know - you may have helped save my life! This was a while ago, and now she's cancer free!

I can still help you with your health insurance. A woman going through a divorce, a family man starting a business after being laid off, a family starting to make too much to stay on Medicaid, a retiree who just got a cancer diagnosis, a couple's income headed the wrong direction and a 26 year old going off of their parents' policy...They're all happening this week. It's particularly satisfying when someone calls, as in the retiree above, and they're in a fog, not knowing wha...t to do or what's out there, and in 10 minutes I hear them sighing with relief, glad that they found someone who can easily maneuver them through the maze and get something started for July 1st. That's Saturday. Tonight I have a guy who is concerned about what happens if he goes as an independent contractor instead of as an employee. No problem. I just wish I could get to more people to help them. You might be able to really help someone in need by referring them to me. I have more than a few calls per month when the client tells me it was the best call they made all month. One family before Christmas told me that it was the best phone call they made all year. I like those.
