Happy 4th of July! We are closed to enjoy the holiday with our families. We hope you remain healthy and safely sheltered in place.... Sadly, this year it is not feasible to have 500+ people through the shops in 5 days...so the participating shops in the June Shop Hop by the Bay are running a virtual shop hop! Visit each shop's website during the Shop Hop days of June 24- 28, find and download each shop's free pattern - each a block of the "Stay at Home" quilt - and be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from each shop. Collect all the patterns from the shops, plus two bon...us ones from the www.Shophopbythebay.com website, and you'll have 12 different house blocks to stitch up your own quilt. Or, use fewer and make some pillows or a table runner. Each shop will be offering a great shop hop special" item or kit during the hop. Check out our websites and see what each has to offer! Greetings to our wonderful customers! We are pleased to announce that the County has allowed us to open for limited foot traffic after what feels like a lifetime! We are taking the time to make sure that we abide by all the County-mandated Social Distancing and Regulations to keep our customers and employees safe. Beginning Monday, June 8th, we will be allowing a maximum of six customers and two employees in the shop at a time. The front door will be locked, hand sanitiz...er will be available, and MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER. If there is a line, we will let customers in as others leave. We ask that you not come to the shop if you aren’t feeling well, which seems obvious, we know. Social distancing markings will be provided on the carpet around the cutting table and cash register. As a courtesy, we ask that you spend 30 minutes or less in the store shopping to allow others to shop if there is a line. Our classroom and restroom will NOT be available to public access at this time. For now, we will be open to in-store traffic from Monday through Saturday from 10-3 and closed on Sundays. We will continue to process web orders for curbside pickup or shipping. We so look forward to welcoming you back in to Golden State Quilting. Our hugs will be virtual for now, but they are heartfelt. We just keep quilting... We are required to be closed to foot traffic until this crisis is passed but we are keeping the quilting machines going.
