Today we rolled out our first weekly free food distribution for 45 families. Big thanks to @californiaislandmarket market and @stormieart They each received a fresh, local produce bag delivered to heir door. Every week we visit and support the resident gardens with seedlings, seeds and soil amendments. If you have an excess amount of fruit on your trees and garden, paper bags or food to donate, please bring to The Wood Cafe 12000 Washington blvd 90066 at 12:15--1:15pm. 1 bag donation bag per family.
