Let's remember those who are missing their beloved Valentine's this weekend. Consider giving them a call, a text, take them to lunch, give a gift card, or just a single flower - anything that lets them know you remember. One year, I anonymously left flowers and chocolates at the doors of some precious widows. It was fun! I'd love to hear your ideas.:)

Sometimes it is hard to find the good, when we are so wounded, but it's out there. Keep looking my friends. :)

Most of us would not choose to experience the pain we have. But deep pain opened my eyes to things I couldn’t see before - new understandings, insights and empathy. If we must go through it, we can look for ways to allow it to make us better versions of ourselves.

Feeling all emotions experienced after a devastating loss is crucial to healing. It can be scary as we feel vulnerable and like we might break, but stuffing them can leave us stuck and cause us lots of problems in the future. It takes courage to feel and to heal! And you don't have to do it alone. :)
