Green Asset Recovery Services: A success story! A wire manufacturer in Southern California has been spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on new wooden reels for export shipments. GreenFlow approached this company and offered to recover them and return them for reuse. The customer agreed and we took on the challenge of recovering this transport packaging material. After identifying the material's destination in México, GreenFlow retrieved it, inspected it to ensure it com...plied with the customer's quality requirements, obtained all necessary environmental permits, planned the reverse logistics and export/import process and returned the first 270 reels. We estimate recovering thousands of this reels a year. We estimate our customer saving approximately 31% on each wooden reel. One important aspect of our service is that it extends the economic life of all types of transport packaging. Economic life the number of trips any type of transport packaging makeS over its lifetime. Hence, savings are exponential. As an illustration, if the average lifespan of the 270 reels is 8 trips our customer will avoid buying 2,160 new reels! Not only will our customer obtain significant savings but it will also reduce its environmental footprint. All of us at GreenFlow believe that if people and industries commit to protecting our environment it will rewards us in many ways. In the case of this wire manufacturer, it will save hundreds of thousand, or perhaps millions of dollars in the longterm. Talk about a reward!

GreenFlow is a key participant in a massive recycing effort at the biggest solar farm being constructed in the San Luis Obistpo County. By the time this project is completed and 9,000,000 solar panels have been installed, GreenFlow will have recycled over 100,000 wooden pallets. Other estimates put the number of recycled pallets close to 200,000. The majority of the pallets arrive from Malaysia and these are assembled using Teak, which is a type of wood used mainly for furniture and floors. GreenFlow is also providing recycling services at another solar project situated in the Mojave desert, in California. By the time this project is completed, we will have recycled over 30,000 wooden pallets. We are committed to playing a major role in protecting the environment.
