In partnership with the Upland-Foothill Kiwanis, the Upland Recreation and Community Services Division would like to invite you to come out and join us this Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., for our Concerts & Kids' Events located inside Memorial Park, Upland. Get ready to tap your feet, sing and dance, and have a good time! Bring your most c...omfortable blankets and low lawn chairs, and stake out a place to relax. No need to pack a picnic dinner, as the Upland-Foothill Kiwanis will once again sell delicious snacks and goodies at their popular snack bar! This week, enjoy the musical sounds of MIDNIGHT RIDE, a rock/top 40 cover band! Children will enjoy WACKY GAME NIGHT, good old fun and games...lots of games!!! Join us this Saturday, June 30th at 10:00 a.m. for the Grand Re-Opening of the Upland Memorial Skate Park! New this year...Skatepark Annual Passes will be requ...ired for entry. Adult Resident/$30, Adult Non-Resident/$35, Youth Resident/$20, Youth Non-Resident/$25, and a Daily Pass for $5 Per day. All participants must complete a waiver and purchase an Annual or Daily Pass in order to enter the skatepark. Good morning!!! Have you signed up for our 4th of July Firecracker 5K Fun Run/Walk yet? Join us at Memorial Park for our 2nd Annual Firecracker 5K Fun Run/W...alk, a family friendly event open to runners, walkers, and strollers of all ages and abilities. It's the perfect family friendly way to kick off your 4th of July festivities. This is more than just another 5K Run/Walk. It's a chance to spend time with neighbors, friends, and family while celebrating the 4th of July! All ages are welcome to attend. Registration is required for those 8 years and up. Check-in: 6:30 a.m. Start time: 8:00 a.m. SHARP Registration: $30 Per Person Event T-shirts are guaranteed for all registration through Monday, June 25th. Participation medals will be awarded to all in attendance. First place medals will be awarded for each age category. Prizes will be awarded for overall finisher, male and female. All registration will include a Sparklin' Pancake Breakfast. New this year, bib-pick up will be held on Tuesday, July 3rd from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Upland City Yard located at 1370 N.
