Tyner Ranch House of Horror 08.11.2020

Our Halloween spectacle was born out of my cousins love of the holidays and his insatiable craving to decorate his yard for the holidays. It is my cousins house on Tyner Lane that you visit on Halloween. He is the guy running around as Saws the creepy clown. Myself, Robby, I'm the guy in the Darth Vader Suit. I started working on putting a Darth Vader costume together in about 2001. After a few years of building, buying, and creating my costume I was excited to get out there ...in it when Halloween rolled around. Unfortunately I received very few trick or treaters in my own neighborhood. So I called up my cousin Brad and he told me they have more trick or treaters than they can keep up with. I asked him if he would mind if I came to his house and stood out front to greet trick or treaters in my costume. We got a ton of positive feedback that night about how much everyone liked the Vader costume. So my cousin decided that the following year he would make a Darth Maul outfit, go bigger on the yard decor and we would both greet trick or treaters! Again we got a ton of feedback and even people stopping by my cousins house in the off season to make sure he would be doing the House of Horror again. We have tried to step it up every year to make it a little better and a little scarier. Darth Maul has retired for a more interactive character Saws the Clown that my cousin is playing but Darth Vader will always return. Honestly this project really started out of no where and has become more than my cousin ever imagined. We look forward to doing it every year and love seeing all the fun and scares that come out of it. Please leave comments and even feel free to upload your pics or video you may have taken while at the house. We don't get many pics and videos ourselves because we are trying to keep people scared. So we would love to see yours! We know it's not much but for what small amount of people that get enjoyment or a scare out of it we do it for you. Feel free to ask to pose for pictures or just take a second to say hi. Updated - In 2014 Brad lost his oldest son Dustin (who was autistic among other things) to complications from Valley Fever at the age of 13. Even though Dustin was never able to talk, his actions and screams expressed his joy during the holidays. If you're at the haunt and see Dustin's younger brother Ty (who's also autistic and in a wheelchair) say hi! Although Dustin was more into Christmas than he was Halloween, we still do the haunt every year in memory of him. If you listen close enough we believe we can still hear Dustin screaming and yelling at us for giving away all the candy to the trick or treaters! Thank you for visiting our page and thank you for supporting our haunt. We appreciate you all.

I just want to say thanks to all the people who came to the house, and to my family for being a part of this crazy ride every year.
