Green Valley Rug Hooking

Here is another rug I hooked this winter, started in a class with Janet Conner. I was inspired by my sister and a poem she gave me years ago by Richard Brautigan. I just delivered this to my sis and we got it hung on her wall before I left!

Just home from Western McGown Teachers Workshop. Another great week! I can now post my project, Leaves, from Honey Bee Hive, hooked in wool and velvet. I had lots of fun adjusting the pattern for a stained glass look.

A fresh bin of velvet to bring to Western McGown Teachers Workshop! So excited to be attending again this year and now a co-Director with my good friend Susan Kleidon! Looking forward to a wonderful week of creativity and friendship.

The Dining Room has turned into a Winter Hooking Studio. Finally getting the sample bags of swatchettes put together. A truly colorful mess!

I just finished a new design, KaleidoRose, hooked with 9 cut wool, velvet and yarn, 3’ x 3’, that I started in June with Diane Stoffel at Cambria Pines Rug Camp. It hurt my hand but it was so much fun to hook!
