After trying to reduce my time away from the business and my wife I have held off on being on State or Federal committees the last few years. Today I was sworn into the State Bureau of Security and Investigative Services Advisory Committee. Looking forward to being useful.

Our own Glenn Younger was sworn in today to the Advisory Committee for the State Department of Consumer Affairs - Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS of CA). Glenn will represent Locksmiths and Access Control companies.

Needed help with a door issue, but didn't have time to do it in house. Called Grah Safe & Lock to come out to take care of the problem. We needed the work done during non normal business hour, so we requested 5:00am. The two guys showed up on time and did an excellent job for us. The were very professional from the time we made the appointment (Ana), to the two techs (Pedro, and Jeremy) that did the work. They fixed the problem and cleaned up after themselves. My company switched to Grah when our previous locksmith provider sold their business. Grah has been such a great company to work with for the past 5 years. They schedule their techs for jobs very quickly and even honored the pre-negotiated rates from previous account. They have a good team on their hands that help to service our account. I started working with Annaliza to schedule all requests and she did a good job of assisting with our needs. Recently they brought Maritza i...nto the office to assist with account service and the level of customer service and responsiveness has improved tremendously with her on the team! She is very responsive and knowledgeable of the services requests needed. Quotes are received in a timely manner, from their team, and if one is not, Maritza is quick to follow up on the request. The technicians that service the account are courteous, knowledgeable and clean up their work nicely. They will also explain the work and any issues clearly. My building engineer recommended I go here for re-keying of a lock. I was in their shop for less than 10 minutes. Everyone was professional and courteous, and the resulting product operates flawlessly (and included two keys) for a great price.

Just wanted to share an update. I've continued to with Grah and they're doing a really good job. Neither myself of my maintenance tech have had any issues.

I recently had a bike stolen and sought assistance with selecting a high quality lock to help prevent another such incident, which is rather invasive and unpleasant, to say the least ~ an utter sense of violation, especially since I am a senior who relies on my bike to get around. I spoke with Zach on the phone and he was friendly and helpful and suggested I come over to the shop to look over what he had available. I did so the next day and I couldn't be more pleased with t...he experience. Zach helped me select an ABUS chain lock with heavy hardened steel chain links, which I will fit with a high-quality, sturdy, secure Schlage lock which I had in my possession. Zach examined the Schlage lock and said it was a very high quality lock and did not try to have me purchase a lock from the store instead. He also noted some minor rust in the lock and sprayed the lock to clean it up and make it operate more smoothly and efficiently. The chain link is covered / protected with a thick nylon protective sheath. I am thrilled with the lock and the outcome of my search. Zach made the experience quick, efficient, inexpensive, and pleasant. I could be moe pleased with the outcome and can be assured that I will feel my replacement bike will be safe from another theft. Peace of mind is priceless in security, huh?! Zach has manners, warmth, kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism in his DNZ, honestly. The phone as a key or credential trend is taking hold. We've been doing phone as key for a few years since August Lock. Now we offer it as a mobile key for commercial access control systems, and Mobile monitors on video systems. Coming to a car near you soon.

I had just offered a few sets of key to place around my location...in case i ever locked myself out. this was Monday. Today as I walked out for work, I locked myself OUT! Not believing it, i fond a number for Grah. I have used them before and just like the other times, Grah came through! Andrew was at my place in the promised 20 minutes and was so pleasant and efficient. I was in my home very soon because of him. He even gave me some knowledge on 'raising chickens'!!! Great Company!!! Jeremy does a great job! He tried so hard to help with our lock situation. Unfortunately when my management company refused to modify the door as he recommended they canceled the work order with the company but they handled the situation very professionally and I felt they were going to make my door safe and secure! I wish I could have used you guys but unfortunately I am a renter and I don't get to choose who my property Manager uses.

We get this question a lot: What Smart lock will work best at my home? Here is the shortest description I can do for the differences in Smart locks we suggest. 1. Schlage Sense works well with Apple HomeKit using Siri. Or Alexa / Android with a WI-Fi adapter. 2. Schlage Connect is designed for Z-Wave integration. If you have an existing hub or Alexa perfect and easy. ... 3. Schlage Encode is a WiFi lock that doesn't require a hub. These are battery powered so we can install without running wire. Sense and Connect have the same footprint. Encode slightly smaller. On GATES they need a larger gate box than the standard small box, and a shroud to cover the inside.

Folks Theses guys have been around forever. My father had them way back in the day do a complete lock-set in our home many moons ago. Don't waste your time, call the best. We had "moses" service tech re-key a few of our lock sets. The service was on time and the quality the best... DT

Excellent company of the highest integrity, has been around for decades. Large jobs or small, they get my business. As a business owner myself, what I really appreciate is not just their impressive client list (which reads like a who's who in San Diego), but how well they treat their employees. Of course all that care and training means they are taking great care of their customers. These folks are the best at what they do...and at very reasonable prices.

Don't hesitate to choose Grah. We had to replace two lock sets on our 45 year old front doors. The old ones left holes in odd places on the door. Moses gave us a quote after discussing all the pros and cons with us. We knew exactly what he could and couldn't do and what condition our door would be in afterwards. He coordinated with our painter (Peek Brothers) and did exactly as promised. The price seemed high but we wanted it done right...and it was. Glad they were recommended to us!
