Job AD: Local Driver- For Non-Emergency Medical Transport Company. o THIS IS A PART TIME POTENTIAL FOR FULL TIME JOB.... o First and foremost: Transporting all our passengers safely, comfortably and on-time, while providing the best possible service is our priority. We currently have 2 driving jobs available. Paid training offered to those who are deemed viable candidates. o Paid CPR/First Aid Cert. Class. o Passenger assistance and sensitivity training o Driver safety training o Wheelchair securement training. Experience as an NEMT driver is a plus but not required. We are coming up on our 3rd Anniversary of being a service to the community. The founders come from a commercial driving background with 15 plus years in the driving industry. Driving and helping others are two things we have found extremely rewarding. The founders have found a great sense of purpose in being of service to their very own aging grandparents and another injured family member. This has given the company a foundation for passion and empathy needed to thrive in the industry. We start at $12.00 hourly. We also move you up to $13.00 hourly after an initial 90-day probation period. What to expect if you are brought on the team: You will be driving the company’s newer model, well maintained wheelchair accessible van. Requirements. Must have or acquire CPR-First Aid certication. Pass an extensive criminal background check. Pass a D.O.T drug and pre-employment physical test. Lift, push and pull at least 50 lbs. Valid California Class-C Driver’s License with a good driving record. Must have a minimum of 3 years driving experience with said license. Age 23 or older (Due to insurance guidelines) Flexible Schedule Can start as early as 5 am and work until as late as 6 pm o Some weekend work is also available or required. o There is potential for full time job but not guaranteed.
