Position: Food Production/Packaging Japan Gold USA is seeking an individual that is eager to put their skills to work for a company specializing in vegan, vegetarian, organic, heirloom, non-GMO and macrobiotic health foods. Position Description... Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Food production and packaging Washing and prepping vegetables for use in our food products Operating food production machinery bottling, labeling, slicing, mixing, filling Clean up and maintenance of work areas Support other departments as needed Opportunities for advancement as we grow Upon hiring you must take and pass a Food Handlers Permit Test Minimum Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in food production general labor Excellent attendance and reliability Excellent communication skills Ability to consistently meet goals and deadlines High school diploma, some college or college degree Reliable transportation Basic math skills Availability Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm The following additional skills and qualifications are a plus: Knowledge of natural foods, macrobiotics, vegan or vegetarian diets or gluten free foods Enthusiasm for health and natural products Bi-lingual is a plus Qualified candidates should possess these personal skills: Strong teamwork skills Self-managed, very organized and detail-oriented Quick learner Strong work ethic To apply for this position, please reply to this ad and attach a copy of your resume.
