"Sea Weave" is a special ring that was inspired by the natural beauty of California kelp forests and all the magic they hold. This ring mimics the movement of golden kelp leaves under a wave. 14K Yellow Gold 1.32 ct. Grossular Garnet Terry Whyte 2017
Since this month's birth stone is Diamond, here is the true history of the engagement/wedding ring!
Today, 33 years ago, Golden Artistry had its grand opening! We wanted to say thank you for supporting us all these wonderful years!
April's Birth Stone: DIAMOND Interesting Facts: -The word diamond derives from the Greek word "adamas," which means invincible or indestructible.... -The ancient Romans and Greeks believed that diamonds were tears cried by the gods or splinters from falling stars, and Romans believed that Cupid's arrows were tipped with diamonds (perhaps the earliest association between diamonds and romantic love). -Did you know that natural diamonds come in every color? -Diamonds are the hardest natural substance. The only thing that can scratch a diamond is another diamond.
"Volute" was hand fabricated at our store in La Mesa by Master Goldsmith, Terry Whyte. Volute has 5 diamonds with .50 ct total weight. G color, VS clarity. Hand fabricated out of 14k Yellow Gold. 2016 Terry Whyte
#TBT This pendant is truly unique! A raw Tourmaline crystal rises up from the base of this leaf-like design. Multiple, little golden bars reflect onto the gold to create the illusion of a herringbone pattern. 1987 Terry Whyte
Congratulations to the finalists of Golden Artistry's 9th annual design competition!
Let this pendant help you unwind with it's swirl of Rose Gold and Garnet like orange leaves falling in an autumn forest. "Unravel" 14K Rose and White Gold, .76 ct. Tsavorite Garnet, .49 ct. Spessarite Garnet $2,239... 2017 Terry Whyte
March's Birth Stone: AQUAMARINE Interesting Facts: -Aquamarine gets its name from Latin "aqua marina" which means "sea water". It references the similarity of the gemstone's color and clarity to that of the ocean.... -Believed to be a precious treasure from mermaids, sailors have worn Aquamarine amulets to keep them safe at sea, ward off seasickness, and protect them from Satan. -Today, Aquamarine is considered a symbol of faithfulness, courage, and friendship.
#ThrowBack This pendant was fabricated with three sweeping lines made from 14K Yellow Gold, and a Tahitian Pearl. Terry Whyte 1989-2017
