Glendale Montessori Families and Friends, At the end of this school year Mrs. Utrecht will be retiring. We are thrilled to be able to continue her legacy providing a nurturing environment for student to reach their personal and academic potential. We will be celebrating her priceless impact on all our lives June 19th at 2:30pm to 5:00pm. We are inviting our families past and present to join us on this joyous occasion. Problem solving + perseverance = self confidence

Last Friday was our Mother's Day tea- a special morning for Moms to watch their child do a favorite job in the classroom and then be served special treats. The students and teachers prepare all week for this special day! We love celebrating all the amazing Moms at Glendale Montessori!!!

We are so grateful for our loving and supportive parent community. They hosted a beautiful luncheon for Teacher Appreciation Week. The teachers and staff enjoyed the special treats and felt very appreciated. Our parent community is a large part of what makes our school a truly special place.

Yesterday was the Lower Elementary’s Annual Bake Sale. This year the students were raising money for the Deworm the World Initiative. Leading up to the bake sale the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders researched what parasitic worms were and what parts of the globe are most impacted. After all the baking and prepping was done in the classroom they were ready to sell to the Primary and Upper Elementary students. It was inspiring to see our whole school showing support for a very important cause.
