India had become an independent nation from the hands of the British since 1947. This day is also marked as an anniversary for the partition of India and Pakistan. Approximately 1.8 billion Indians died between 1757 and 1947 for Indian Independence. This doesn’t end here. The partition of India and Pakistan leads to tragedies since October 1947, the First Kashmir War. Also, this was the first war of India after independence. Since that day we have been losing the number of In...dians particularly army men, not only by Pakistan but also by other conflicts. There are a lot of government schemes that help people who are in need. There are some veterans who had no opportunities to get help from the government. So, we are raising our voice on behalf of the veterans to raise funds for their needs through GIVE [Global Initiatives of Veterans]. Now we have recently launched the fundraising for a needy veteran. Greetings! We have seen many veterans and veteran organizations helping fellow veterans by generating resources among the veteran community. We veterans did not have our own platform for crowdfunding to help a needy Veteran. This long-pending requirement is now met with the launch of www.giveveterans.org [GIVE]. GIVE has obtained all statutory compliances, in the USA and direct donations to GIVE are tax exempt in the USA. Since GIVE at present does not have a registered India...n organization, we have collaborated with a crowdfunding platform in India, www.edudharma.com. The donations are exempted under 80G and are 50% tax-exempt. The funds, so generated will be dispatched to Beneficiaries periodically. I request fellow veterans to visit the website and make use of it to help any needy veteran. You may bring any veteran cause to our notice for inclusion at the website. We also welcome veteran’s associations to make use of this platform to raise funds for their Association’s activities. Let us together rise and raise to help a fellow veteran in need.
