Gillman's Classic Drive-In

Hello! You know the perks of owning and operating one of the historical businesses in a community like Oakdale is the amazing amount of support that we receive everyday from our valued customers. New and old! One of the downfalls however, is our aging building and equipment. In an effort to keep everything as original and "Old School" as possible we need to do some maintenance. Today is that day! In order to ensure the safety of the ladies working so diligently to bring the delicious burgers, shakes and fries to you all, we are updating some of our machinery. Today is Wednesday, March 31st and we are closed. We will resume our regular schedule on Thursday, April 1st (no fooling)! We truly appreciate your continued understanding and support. Hello! We know that this year in lock-down has taken it's toll on our "Friday Night Lights" community. All of us have been affected in one way or another. In an effort to show our love and support to our graduating Oakdale Mustangs, we will be hosting a drive through! Friday March 12th from 2-4pm our OHS Seniors will be driving through our burger joint to enjoy some sweet and salty treats! We are honored to have them! Please be aware that if you come in for snacks of your ow...n between 2-4 that you might have to wait a little longer. We will do our very best to accommodate everyone. We will be working hard to make sure that all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner. We truly appreciate your patience. Hello...I hope you all are enjoying this beautiful spring-like weather! We have decided to remain closed for this final week of February. We don't make this decision lightly. Our crew is still not 100% solid as this cold has taken its toll. We would rather not risk the health of our valued customers. We will be closed this week. February 22nd through February 26th. This Monday through this Friday. We will return to our regular schedule on Monday, March 1st. We are so thankful for your continued support and understanding! Hello...We hope you all are enjoying your February! We have decided to remain closed for another week. Our crew is limited to only 4 people,(We can't fit more into our building)and two of them have had a cold. Not Covid. Just colds. We feel it is best to take a few more days to make sure everyone is fully recovered. We don't want to share it and we absolutely don't want to share it with any of you. Please be patient as we have only the best interests of our customers at hear...t. We will be closed February 15th through February 19th. That is Monday through Friday of this week. Hello! On Saturday, February 6th it was brought to our attention that one of our own was exposed to and ultimately tested positive for Covid. We have been diligent with precautionary measures and to this point blessed with all of us staying healthy. We are symptom free and confident that all subsequent tests will come back negative. We have decided to take this upcoming week to be closed. This has been a difficult decision because we are all feeling healthy and enjoying our... very Spring-like weather. We wanted to pass along this information in an effort to show full disclosure. We truly care about each and every one of our valued customers. We want everyone to know how very much we appreciate your continued support and understanding. We will be closed February 8th through February 12th. That is Monday through Friday.
