Rumor has it that the County of Santa Clara is going to head into stage 2 of reopening. That includes us! We ask for your patience as we wait for the county to officially publish the updated health order. We will update everyone once we have our official reopening date and plan. Scheduling will begin with those clients who have had to reschedule their prior appointments. Thank you and we can't wait to see you SOON!

Some exciting news today hearing Governor Gavin Newsome give the go ahead for dog grooming to resume in California. However, the Santa Clara County has implemented tighter restrictions and still has not given us the OK. So until then, The Dog Spot will remain closed but anxiously waiting for good news (soon, hopefully!). As soon as we’re given the green light, we’ll contact you to schedule your dogs appointments, starting with those clients who have had to reschedule. Thank ...you for your understanding and patience! Unfortunately, the new shelter in place order announced today by the County of Santa Clara does not include the opening of dog grooming businesses. We will continue to abide by the order, as the health and safety of our clients and their furry loved ones are our top priorities. As soon as the county gives us the go, we will make an announcement and begin contacting our clients, starting with those who have had to reschedule. Hope everyone is safe and healthy. Just wanted to provide an update that The Dog Spot remains closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the County of Santa Clara’s health orders. Once deemed safe to reopen, we will share an update on here and begin reaching out to clients who have had to reschedule. The ball’s in the county’s hand, and we can’t wait to play fetch! In the meantime, we would love to see some pictures of your pups. We miss them so much! Hey everyone... these are definitely strange and scary times! I personally reached out to two separate Santa Clara County officials to get a better understanding as to what is and what isn’t a non-essential business. Though we believe dog grooming is very essential, I was told it wasn’t and I must close shop; as well as every other grooming shop. Please call and leave a message, DM or email us for more info on how to get your dog groomed ASAP!! This order is for the better, being proactive to slow this nasty virus down really is the best thing for humanity. We need to stay diligent, keep kind to one another and try to stay positive. UPDATE! His name is Boyd. He was adopted from the Contra Costa Rabbit Rescue, so they will be picking him up in the next day or so to take him back to the rescu...e. Not a reunion, but he will at least have somewhere safe to go. Thank you to everyone for sharing. FOUND BUNNY! Does anyone recognize this handsome fellow? He is super sweet and obviously has been well loved. He was found running around the border of Saratoga/San Jose/Cupertino. He is microchipped but the chip isn't registered. Please share so we can get this little guy home!
