FREE G3X Conversations with Ken Wilcox on Leadership WED, DEC 2 @ 2 PM Ken Wilcox will be discussing his new book "Leading Through Culture" and his experiences leading a key Silicon Valley bank financing innovation in the tech industry. His experience of marrying finance with innovation has many implications for our sector. We are thrilled to have him speak at G3X.... Mr. Wilcox currently serves as Emeritus Chairman of Silicon Valley Bank; was Vice Chairman of SPD Silicon Valley Bank; previous CEO of SVB Financial Group; Chairman of the Board of the Asia Society of Northern California; Treasurer of the Asian Art Museum, and a member of the Advisory Board of the 21st Century China Center Advisory Board. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wilcox was a member of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco from 2006 to 2012. With $250 scholarships sponsored by The Orange County Community Foundation & Southern California Gas Company available for OC Organizations under $1M Annual Budget and Individuals. Designed for public benefit directors, staff, students, and operating board members 30-hours intensive training over 8 weeks meeting every Monday morning. The program is concentrated on topics and tasks needed to lead an organization such as leadership, management, supervision, innovation, vision planning, fund development, strategic partnership, board development, staff development, program development, grantsmanship, marketing, and succession planning. Thanks to Todd Hanson of the Orange County Community Foundation (OCCF), who joined us at our graduation. OCCF, along with Southern California Gas Company provided scholarships for our Fellows. 2020 Gianneschi Fellows for Social Impact Leadership 2020 Emerging Leaders of the Social Sector... Susan Cheng is the Organizing Director and a Founding Member at Ahri for Justice, a new organization dedicated to challenge the broken system and create new pathways for our community so that no one lives in fear of deportation, and everyone has access to education, healthcare, affordable housing, and a healthy work environment. Damian Kim is the Legal Services Manager at Ahri for Justice. Andi Long is the founder of the Bloom Foundation with a mission to provide social-emotional learning programs to help middle and high school students grow from bullying. Dr. Kevin O'Grady is the CEO of Build Futures, an organization that assists transitional-aged homeless youth in Orange County Anthony Glenn is the Founder and CEO of CarDana, a car donation organization. Katie Christopher is the Development Manager for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Orange County Chapter. Patrisia D Gonzalez is the Director of Operations at the Delhi Center in Santa Ana. Khushi Khushi is a High School student in Placentia and the founder of Funds for Ashes, a student-run organization with a mission to that provides funds for those who cannot afford a cremation service for a deceased loved one. Laura Kraft is the Program Manager at His House- OC, an intervention shelter in Placentia. Gayle Knight is the founder and CEO of HOPE (Helping Others Prepare for Eternity) with a mission to provide a myriad of services to abandoned or abused women and children from disadvantaged families. Lisset Magdaleno is the Program Director for Joya Scholars in Fullerton. Jolla’s CEO, Christian Esteban was a Fellow last year. Kirsten Kreymann, Esq. is the Founder and Principle of Kreymann Law, offering pro-bono law help for those in need. Thomas Barnes is the Founder and CEO of Retroformat Silent Films, a new organization with a mission to promote education and enthusiasm about the art of silent film. Andrea Garcia is the Grants Manager for MOMS OC. Kalina Covello is the Director, Donor Relations for OC United Way.
