Meet Autumn's new forever family. Pam wanted to foster a German Shepherd to see if she liked the breed. Well guess what they fell in love with Autumn so much they could not let her go. Autumn became very attached to both of them and is very protective of their home now only after 2 months. She is going to have plenty of love and attention all day long. What a great life she has ahead of her.

Meet Orion's new family. He struck gold with this perfect forever family. He has a human brother and sister that he gets to play with plus two small furry dog friends and a feline buddy to hang out with when he is just laying around the house. He has a nice big back yard to run and play ball plus a swimming pool to do laps in when he learns to swim. He will protect his new Mom while she works from home. Orion has a wonderful active life ahead of him. Give it your all buddy, this is the life you so deserve.

******************Local Southern California********************* We need local fosters for a few dogs that need to be saved from high kill shelters. If you have thought about it and now want to try it please fill out a foster application on our website. Please don't post comments that if you were closer or the reasoning why you can't we want serious foster homes that are ready to try it and who are dedicated for the long term commitment.

Hello, my name is Nash and I am a 16-week old puppy. I was found alongside the road by a good Samaritan and she brought me back to life. She had to bottle feed me and treat me like a King to get me back to feeling normal. But I’ll admit, all that love and attention she spoiled me with has made me behave like a spoiled brat. It was all about me and I got used to that. Living in my new foster home, I am trying to learn that it is not all about me anymore and I have to get along... with other dogs in a structured environment. I love doing what I want when I want but I guess that is not the right way to behave. My foster dad is working very hard with me and my training and I now walk well on a leash, I know sit and I am working on down. I play well with dogs but I don’t let anyone push me around, I am really good at defending myself. I am crate trained and can go through the night without having to go outside until I wake up. I’m still working on house training though, it’s been a slow process. I can go to the door to go outside to poop but haven’t picked up that habit to do the same to go pee so I have accidents in the house. You need to know that because I am a dominant, strong-willed, stubborn German Shepherd puppy, my forever family must have German Shepherd experience to guide me into being a well-behaved adult dog. I need someone who will be patient but firm with me and not let me get away with bad behavior and bad habits. You have to be very dedicated to my training and well being. And I may be a cute puppy right now, just remember that I will grow into an adult dog so I need someone who will be dedicated to me for my entire lifetime, not just during my cute puppy period. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an application and let’s see if you are the right match for me, Mr. King Nash!

Hello, my name is Elsa, I am a 1.5-year-old spayed female. I am a very sassy and sweet girl. As sweet as I am, I do have a couple of issues you should know about me. The first is that I sometimes can be kind of snappy when meeting new dogs and people. That goes away though once I get to know you but my foster dad has been working on it with me and I have gotten a lot better with it. The second is that I have a previous injury to my back right leg. My knee was broken and my ol...d owner didn’t get it repaired so it healed wrong. We took x-rays and there is no real way to fix it right if we had surgery. But it does not affect me at all when I’m walking or playing with other dogs, it just looks funny when I sit down because my leg doesn’t lay flat. Now let’s get to the good stuff about me! I am crate and house trained. I walk pretty good on leash but sometimes I react to other dogs because I love to play with them. I know sit, down and stay but I am a female and don’t like to listen at times. I love to play with my toys and chew on bones while I am hanging out at home. I play well with dogs but prefer dogs my size to play with if I had a choice. I would like to have a family that has experience with German Shepherds because they REALLY need to understand my snapping issue because once I get used to you, I stop doing it all together. I do like lots of attention and can be a sweet girl but I have to trust you first and the same for you. If you’re interested in me, fill out an adoption application to see if we are a good match!
