Earlier this week we hosted Sally Augustin, PhD, principal at Design With Science and Jaclyn Fith is the Transformation Lead for New North America Spaces at @Accenture, as well as the Chief Empowerment Office for their North America Parents Group. Together we discussed how workplaces have a significant impact on preventing illness and promoting overall holistic wellbeing. Some organizations are looking beyond sit-stand desks and healthy snacks when they think about wellness in the workplace. Artist Talk Alert! This Thursday, Meryl Pataky is joining us to discuss her process and inspiration. She fell in love with the tactile nature of sculpture and focuses on the relationship between her own hands and materials. She takes into account the history of her elements from their origins in the universe to their applications in culture and myth. She derives deeper meanings from these histories to add layers to her concepts. Originally from South Florida, she moved to Sa...n Francisco in 2002 to attend the Academy of Art University.
