PSA about this Grateful Dead subreddit AMA: (What???) For those of you not using reddit - which included me until very recently when they asked me to do this AM...A (Ask Me Anything) - this is basically a text-based Q&A that has a live component starting May 7 at 6 pm, and going as long as it goes - most often up to 90 minutes. There is a comment thread (NOW OPEN - see below), where those with a reddit log on can comment with questions for me to (potentially) answer when I go live next week. (If you're not on reddit, you can view but not participate.) On May 7, I'll go on that thread live and work my way down the comment thread, answering the questions one at a time, and yes, bypassing any I choose to. (It's Ask Me Anything, not I'll Tell You Everything.) You can follow along in real time, needing to refresh your screen every so often to see my latest replies. The comment thread stays open from a few days prior until the moderator and I decide we're done, and the thread gets closed at the end of the live AMA. It will be archived for later viewing, and on the main page of the Grateful Dead subreddit, you'll see a list of the many AMA's that have taken place already - including just this week, Jeff Chimenti; plus many others.
