The Ventura Veteran’s Home celebrated the 245th U.S. Navy Birthday, over 16 U.S. Navy Veterans reside at the home. The festive celebration included a U.S. Navy customized cake, presentation of the history of the Navy with interesting facts and presentation of Admiral William H. McRaven’s (former commander of the US Special Operations Command) thank you note to the Ventura Veterans and autographed book Make Your Bed to Navy Veteran Lee.
