Update on a few of our puppies. 1) Malta (FBL)is in phase 2 & we are wishing for continued success. 2) Humble (MYL)has been Career Changed and is coming back on Saturday. He will be placed as a loving pet with a close family friend of the Regenhardt’s. He will have a toddler to grow up with. 3) Lyric (FYL)has been pulled from the Guide Dog program and placed with the Community Placement Department. Lyric was great in all her training phases even with all the Covid issues but ...GDB felt it would be too much for a visually impaired handler to always have to deal with a relieving belt. Lyric always had to walk when she pooped(no matter what the raisers or trainers tried). A handler with vision won’t have to use a relieving belt. We are waiting to hear if she will be transferred to another organization. 4) Jack (M Golden XX)is still doing good overall. A few issues that he is improving on because he has some dedicated raisers to bring out the success in him. 5) Cam (MBL)is now 12 weeks and has done great with his paw pad training, learning house manners and just being a fun puppy. 6) Jenna was Career Changed back in December and was staying with Foster Families until she would be adopted as a pet. She now has her new loving home with Josh who works at GDB and has children she can play with and a pool to swim in. Wow did she find the perfect home. See more

Today is Thursday and it is Phase Report Day for our puppies in training. It has been several months since we have been able to post these due to the Covid Pandemic and GDB being shut down. Training is starting to pick up slowly again which we are excited about. Malta is in Phase 0 Humble is in phase 3 Lyric is in phase 7

We picked up our 37th puppy last night. Kent was giving clues and I guessed his name right off(it was a good clue) We also met a litter mate, Cal that will be raised in Orange County. Meet Mr Cam! Litter was born on 11/22/20. Parents are Jelly Bean & Richard. He is just 8 weeks today!

Our club will be getting a new puppy on Saturday, the 16th. This will be the Rindskopf’s 37th puppy to raise. The puppy will be a MBL with the name starting with a C. His parents are Jelly Bean and Richard. Does anyone have some good guesses? We think it could be Cruz, Chase, Colby, Cole, Cory, Coco, Charley, Carl, Cola, Cale, Curry, Corn, Caden, Cinsey(K) & Cereal(Some of these came from the grandsons)

Well, we have another one of our puppies being recalled for her formal training. We will be sending FBL Malta off on Sunday, January 10th. She is so ready to succeed and we are hoping for the very best for her. We will miss her greatly! I want to thank the Taylor Family for Co-Raising Malta with Sam & I.

Having to say goodbye to Jenna was a mixed emotions day. She has been Career Changed at 1 year old due to extreme energy and difficulty settling along with a couple of other sensitivities. It’s always hard to be at this point as you want to be successful as a puppy raiser but you know this puppy is just not the best for guide work. We all tried so hard. We will miss the little energizer bunny but we know she is in great hands with GDB. We hope she gets placed with a very active family as she is sweet and loving.
