Gardena Convalescent Center is taking aggressive steps to limit the spread of COVID-19. Resident and staff safety remain a top priority at Gardena Convalescent Center. We remain in close communication with local and state health officials regarding this serious matter. All staff and residents are adhering to all recommended preventative measures, including the use of face masks and other Personal Protective Equipment, daily sanitizing of the facility, routine handwashing and the frequent use of hand sanitizer. Visitors are not allowed at the facility at this time. Please contact the facility Administrator if you have any questions or concerns.

We would like share the following with families and the general public. At this time, through guidance by the centers of Medicare and Medicaid services(CMS), the department of public health(CDPH) and the centers for disease control(CDC), we are restricting non-essential visitors until further notice. Should you have any questions about your loved ones in the facility, please contact the facility for further updates.

Congratulations to one of our long term employees, 27 years at GCC, for turning in her Gardena $$ dollars and earning her cash award for caring for our residents. We take pride in rewarding our staff for providing great care to our residents. Keep em’ coming. We love our staff!!!!
