Meet our newest cutie. Bev the Frenchie with her big brother Barca

This is one of our new arrivals, "Dublin". He's a four month old Labrador Retreiver and is ever so dapper and handsome!

A good Samaritan found this adorable little miniature pinscher on the side of the road several weeks ago. He had been hit by a car and was suffering. The dog was brought to H.A.H. where he has been treated and recovering ever since. He now needs a loving home. He has not yet been neutered. He will require some training and may require orthopedic surgery at some point in the future, if his pelvis does not heal as we hope. The first heat wave of the summer is upon us. Please be mindful and keep your pets safe. The inside of a car on even a mildly warm day will exceed the outside temperature by 15 degrees or more in 7 minutes or less! Take care.

Update: The stray cat, now "Esther", who was found and brought to us in critical condition last month has been restored to good health, thanks to Dr. Landesfeind's loving expertise. And though we were unable to locate her owner, she has been cleared to be moved to the adoption center today! Good luck, Esther, we'll miss you.

A good samaritan found this cat on 4/4/17 at Adams and 17th near Beachwalk neighborhhod. She was brought to H.A.H. in critical condition. She is now stable and we are trying to find her owner. Please share and if anyone has information, pleases call us at (714) 964-4744
