Take the Parent Survey - by October 30 Since 1897, PTA has been a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for public education. This advocacy has never been more important than it is today during the Covid-19 pandemic. The San Diego Unified Council of PTAs is conducting a survey to hear first-hand from families on how things are going in San Diego Unified this school year. The information gathered will be shared... with parents and the school district. Survey results will help shape the conversation at an upcoming webinar. The webinar will be held Nov. 9 and open to all. Details to follow. This survey is designed for all who are actively involved in assisting with online learning, even if the student does not reside in your home or if you are not the parent/guardian. The survey is live now and will close on Oct. 30. It should take less than 5 minutes and your responses are completely anonymous. Units, please share this survey with your entire school community. The Gage Fall Festival is going VIRTUAL! We want to see your costumes, your pumpkin decorating skills & your artwork! I've heard there are fun prizes for contest winners too! Let's make this October fun for our Gators! See the flyer for details on how to enter the contests.

To achieve this, we need your help! No amount is too small or too big. $5 or $500, every dollar helps bring programs and events to our Gators. This year we need your help to fund virtual engagement opportunities such as Online Art Instruction & Virtual Field Trips. Plus we will help provide necessary school supplies and teacher mini grants for distance learning tools.

Who has been saving Box Tops??? We now have a mailbox up for collection!! It’s on the fence at the front of the school, close to the kindergarten area. Drop your BoxTops in the mailbox anytime!! Get your BoxTops in the mailbox by October 26th for this submission! A HUGE thank you to Travis & Jamble for making this plan come to life!! ... We will accept Box Tops anytime though - so ask friends, family, neighbors - everyone! And drop them in the box when it’s convenient for you!
