We’ve wrapped up our mission this Friday with another 66 patients seen, a total of 284 patients seen between three different villages and over 400 glasses distributed!!! VBS had about 120 children. It was an amazing experience and hope to come back! We took today to hang out, explore, take a river tour and have some fun! Between yesterday and today we saw about another 110 patients. We visited Bigar falls and went to visit a medical clinic in a local village opened up by Pastor Dancea! We were amazed how this pastor had such a heart to go back from the US to his home town to ensure this town has the care they need. What a blessing to be able to do this! The other hand of our mission was VBS! Check out this amazing team! On the second day, the local kids camp closed down and showed up with th...ose kids unexpectedly to VBS ... with 30 kids! You should have seen the panic on our teams face when they suddenly had 90 kids! Its okay, they laughed at us too when we panicked that we had 50 patients waiting and fighting to get in to our doors when we got there too! One of the patients in the first village waited patiently for us to finish the morning clinic to have us go see her bed ridden husband at home. Dr. Jacob went and did a home consult. This for them would have not been possible otherwise. These villages are up in the mountains and transporting can be very difficult.

Day 1 of the Mission we saw 50 patients in two different villages. Here are some sneak peeks. It is incredible to see such beautiful places with so many underserved communities.

If you’ve been to our office with in the last six months, you might’ve noticed some signs that talk about a medical mission trip to Romania. Well, here it is! We are on a three week countdown until our mission trip! Dr. Jacob and five staff members (and kids, as seen in the picture helping) will be heading out on June 21st in the City of Prilipet and Baile Herculane working with Casa Dorca (an orphanage) and the local elderly community. We are coming along side a group from ...a local Romanian church which will be doing vacation bible school with the local children at the orphanage and two different villages. For those that have contributed to our mission, we would like to say THANK YOU! We cleaned, labeled and packed 242 glasses today with this awesome crew!
