Full Metal Yoga

Hey, have you ever wanted to read the Bhagavad-gita, but were waiting for a pandemic to hit first? *Well, have I got news for you!* Next Wednesday at 10-10:30 am PDT, I will be starting a Zoom meeting series where we will read (chant? sing?) the Bhagavad-gita. Sanskrit transliteration and English translation only, no commentary. Each meeting will start with some Sanskrit pronunciation tips, and we'll have a little tune to chant the Sanskrit to--makes the pronunciation easier. The idea is to tell the story, to listen to the beauty of the poetry. I have no idea how many weeks this will take, btw, but it should be fun. And spiritual. DM me and I'll give you the Zoom link and info about which particular translation of the Gita we're using (we'll have it on the share screen, but I can get you a paper copy if you prefer)

Namaste, Neighbors! We are *on* for yoga this Friday! "Happy Hour" yoga, 5:30pm at my house, 614 First Street, across from the school blacktop. Suggested donation $5-$15, No One Turned Away For Lack Of Funds (NOTAFLOF). Please wear clothing you feel comfortable in and can move in, bring a water bottle and a mat & props (if you have them)... No fancy yoga pants? No problem! No mat? No problem (I have three extras)! Never done yoga before? No problem! Not flexible? No problem! This is a yoga class for people who don't do yoga!
