In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Stockton - Local Government , in partnership with El Concilio through federal and state funding, is offering emergency rent and utilities assistance for renters living anywhere in the City of Stockton who have experienced a reduction in household income or other financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible applicants can receive assistance for past rent and utilities owed from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021 and m...ay qualify to have a portion of their rent paid for April, May and June 2021. ATTENTION SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY FAMILIES: Family COVID Assistance Grant Applications are now being accepted. The FAMILY COVID Assistance Grant Program is intended to assist individuals and families who meet specified income thresholds and have been financially harmed by the pandemic. The maximum grant is limited to $5,000 per household. Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis so long as funding is available or until January 31, 2021 whichever occurs earlier.
