The next FFNC Zoom meeting (Friday, 5/14) will feature STACEY KING, author of "Nakaa's Awakening". Four generations of her family lived on Banaba, a remote Sout...h Pacific island. Ms. King manages to show both sides of the conflict between the British, who are anxious to mine the valuable phosphate found throughout the island, and the natives to whom the native fruit tree were more important than the money paid for their destruction. She is now involved with seeking to gain justice for the Banaban people, and the rehabilitation of their island. A program you won't want to miss! On October 28 we enjoyed a successful ZOOM reunion with FF Penticton, Brandon, Winnipeg, and Calgary. These four Western Canada Clubs hosted FF Toronto in the fall of 2019. It was a truly special Journey, exploring this beautiful part of our country with fellow Canadians.
