We cannot help everyone or right every wrong but if each of serve the person in need in front us our joint efforts will start a wave of positive change that will only grow over time. Yesterday Friends Anaheim partnered with @javsbbq to provide a delicious meal for over 100 families from @ponderosa.aesd These families received love and hope from their community as @lovehopecity @saddlebackan @loveanaheim partnered with us to serve families in Anaheim. We’ve had new guests at our Friends Anaheim house church almost every week! Read how our friend Leigh found purpose in serving others: Finally I have found my first way to serve my Lord! I started attending Anaheim Friends, due to my longtime friends invited me. I had just retired, and started being restless to serve. I had prayed about it and God was answering. I just didn't recognize it at first! I read the emails and signed up to help distribute food immediately. It is hard work, but so rewarding. I like to wave and chat with the drivers whom lo...ok a bit embarrassed to be there. This weekend at Friends Anaheim we were discussing how to find God’s role for us in sharing the #goodnews of #jesus with those around us. Some of our friends were questioning what role they can play during this time as they need to stay quarantined for their health and others. But as we sought God He showed them that He is not limited even by disease and quarantine and he showed them their role. They were able to exhibit #generosity by providing much needed food, diapers, and clothing to families in need in our community!
