Happy early Thanksgiving! If you or anyone you know who is a veteran is in need of a Thanksgiving meal this Thanksgiving please reach out to us and we will provide you with further information.

Post-9/11 Gi Bill students, Students who pursue resident courses converted to an online modality solely due to COVID 19 will continue to recieve the MHA rate for resident training.

The Student Veteran Organization will be providing a Valentines Day breakfast for the families residing in Terry’a House while their loved ones are in Clovis, Community Regional Medical Center. SVO is looking for volunteers to help cook or serve for the families Saturday February 1st. If you would like to volunteer DM us letting us know!

There will be an online application assistance for Veterans this Friday January 31st, 2020 at 0900 at Workforce Connection! Join the Census Team.

Hello Everyone, We hope all is well and everyone is getting ready for finals and finishing strong! SVO and the Veterans Resource Center would like to make you all aware of two upcoming events. Please share these events: ... DEC 6: The Tree Lighting Ceremony includes pictures with Santa, singing carols and refreshments. This is free for Veterans and their families. Our VA Photographer will be taking photos, but parents may also take pictures with their own cameras if they wish. This is truly a wonderful event. One of my favorites. DEC 7: The Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Ceremony will be very special and is to include the reading of My Father’s Story written by the daughter of a local Pearl Harbor Survivor. Come join us this Saturday as we celebrate every brave man and woman who has selflessly stepped up to defend this beautiful nation of ours. We will be having a free tailgate for all veterans and a limited amount of free tickets will be given out to veterans as well. Tailgate begins at 1:00pm, free food and beverages will be provided.
