Even through our smallest gestures, we can spread positivity, and help reassure our faith in humanity. Mandeep Singh When Covid-19 hit, mechanical engineering graduate student, Mandeep Singh, worked tirelessly alongside his classmates and faculty in the Lyles College of Engineering to develop and deliver face shields to healthcare workers. While production of face shields continued at the Fresno State campus, he and his peers worked from home on their own 3D printers pro...totyping and testing FDA-approved masks. Mandeep’s deep understanding of how engineers can make a positive impact on the world is leading him to new opportunities to think and act beyond himself.
