Last fall, LaLab, in conjunction with Henry Madden Library and Fresno State ASI (among others) hosted a week-long zine / art workshop for the Fresno State commu...nity. Shout outs to Mariah Bosch, Chevas Vandel, Javier Lopez, Gal Yang-Vang, Tony Vang, and Anthony Cody for leading the workshops, and engaging with students on voting. As Juan Felipe Herrera says, "Sing. Speak. Write. Dance. Paint. Be heard." Here is a write-up below, which includes a link to the zine, as well as an interview with Ginny Barnes, who was pivotal in organizing the effort.
