Calling all Merced and Fresno residents who are interested in a career in health. Become an AmeriCorps Access to Cultural Healthcare member and gain experience in: -Mental Health -Health Educator -Case Management ... -Physical or Occupational Therapy -Nurse As an AmeriCorps member you will gain: -A monthly stipend -Upon completing 1,700 hours (one-year), you are eligible to receive up to $10,000 in education grant. -You can choose to use your education grant to pay off student loans or use it as a scholarship to pursue your education. -A portion or all the interest that accrued on a qualified student loan during your term of service could be paid for. -Health benefits paid for by employer. -Childcare is available for those who serve full-time.
