To all of the members the F SSL family. I am sorry to say that yes that report about Fred Ricardo being killed by the highway patrol is true. it was an accident when the high patrolman ran the stop sign and hit Freddy's pick up throwing him out he was killed they say instantly backbroken but I have a report on it on the website. So our prayers and thoughts go out to his family as a great man he will surely be missed.

I'm sorry to report that President Sanchez has canceled the celebration of life scheduled for November 7th for Mike Campanile. He says that due to covid 19 virus increase he has no choice and does not want the lead to get fined so therefore it is canceled November 7th and I will let you know when they reset the date

Was great sadness I must inform you that I just received word from Kenny Edgar that Mike campanelli passed away this morning at 1:30 a.m. prayers and thoughts go out to the family. I will keep you informed of any further information I receive and thank you Kenny and thank all of you for your prayers.

Is great sadness that I report that Mike campanelli has gone back into the hospital and is in a coma. he is on life support with a ventilator and they need to decide whether to keep him going or pull the plug please pray for the family and send them your sympathy. Softball will miss a great man.

just finished watching the announcement from huntsman Senior games in St George. Unfortunately they have chosen to cancel the 20/20 season and will be making refunds to those that request if you have any idea of taking the money donating or taking a coupon go to the website and make your choice. Sorry that they're not going to be able to do it cuz I'm sure I'm going to miss it everyone take care and stay healthy see you in the future

Just got this message from President Sanchez.

Well I understand the FSSL Board meet last night, wonder if it will let us know what is going on. We still don't have any minutes for this years meeting. Maybe we should protest. LOL. Anyway when someone finds out what is going on please let me know, I keep getting asked questions and for one of the few times in my life, I have no answers. today I received a notice from USAA, the old a essay on the procedures that need to be used for reinstating play for USA team. I have posted it on the website and it contains a lot of information. It also has a risk for him that needs to be signed by all players before restarting so as soon as the board makes her decision on when we start or if we can start I would be gladly posted it on the website. Well it looks like we might get to play ball this year. President Sanchez has asked the managers to call their teams and find out how many are going to come back and how many want to wait until August's fall league. The play as of now, (if they reopen the city) is to start the first week of July. I have contacted all of my player on all there teams and found that I will be missing 2 in the 50's. One for medical reasons and the other for safty. IN my 58's I only have o...ne who is not sure yet. IN my 63's I will lose two to covid 19 with anthor two not sure yet and we need to know so we can see how many taems we will have. I know of three teams that are a go and only losing a couple of players. Something that might be interesting is the fact that the borders have been sealed so team will not be allowed to come to the Huntsman Senior games unless the borders are reopened. IN talking with them they are waiting to make a final decission some time in mid July. So if you can let your managers know if you plan to come back or not so the baord can make an informed decission please let everyone know about this. God be with you and stay safe, See more
