FRC Team 5027 Event Horizon

01/27/18. Week 3 of Building Season Blog The past weeks have been very progressive, as the team was able to get many essential tasks finished. The robot and its intake were significantly worked on throughout the week. The electrical board and circuits have been fixed and connected, allowing the robot to function properly. Programming was able to enable the robot to move correctly. And lastly, the robot's bumpers have been made and completed at the end of the week. However, ...besides the robot, many members received training and more demonstrations to complete tasks successfully. The media team has also been working on the team's shirt/hoodie and buttons, along with taking pictures to record progress each day. To finish off the week, FAST mentors (Future Advancers of Science and Technology), a Stanford program, visited the robotics workshop on Saturday for observing and borrowing tools for their mentees to complete their projects. We had a good time at Cal-Games! Thanks to 4186: The Aztechs and 668: The Apes of Wrath , we were able to compete in elimination. While we may have not won, the alliance was able to reach the semifinals, getting 3rd place in the end!
