We recently completed a project with Andrew Lia, the production manager at Oxy Arts at Occidental College in Los Angeles on what had been referred to as a "black box theater." During our tour of the space last week, we discovered what was in the theater was a residency of the Bob Baker Marionette Theater. It’s the oldest children’s theater in Los Angeles and the original theater in downtown Los Angeles is a historical monument. His puppetry has been on TV and in films and his marionettes have entertained thousands of children and adults worldwide for more than 70 years. The Rosco Braq Cube RGB-A was the perfect choice to light the space, providing the needed punch in a small form factor fixture. It was the clear winner in a pre-project shoot-out with the Chauvet Ovation fixture in delivered lumens.

The Solaris Flare fixture from TMB was chosen once again to dominate a prominent lighting design. This time, it was for the 2019 Billboard Music Awards. Read on to hear why lighting designer Jon Kusner feels these are best in class!

We worked with CD+M and provided Acolyte LED throughout The Silver Legacy Spa in Reno. The project turned out absolutely stunning!

Interactive Technologies utilized their CS900 CueServer for an interactive lighting exhibit using keyboards that patrons could play to light up multiple drums. This was quite a unique project with regards to controls!

This past week, we attended Lightfair in Philadelphia and had a lovely night out with Nicor Lighting!
