Friends, it looks like it's going to be a while before high-contact activities like swing dancing are safe for the community. We are continuing to monitor the news, and will update you all as the situation evolves. This pandemic is really making it difficult to get that FDO dancer’s high, but we still want you to have a great night of dancing- even if it’s in your kitchen or living room! FDO family, as fans of music and dance forms rooted in African American culture, we are all working to be better allies to the Black community and speak out against racism and police brutality. One way to honor that commitment today, is by celebrating our beloved music and dance while donating and raising funds for Campaign Zero. Funds donated to Campaign Zero support the analysis of policing practices across the country, research to identify effective solutions to end police violence, technical assistance to organizers leading police accountability campaigns and the development of model legislation and advocacy to end police violence nationwide.
