Employers cannot ask about a woman’s prior salary in determining your pay- ask for the same or more pay than the men with similar experience and education in that job.

An ugly piece of our history in the South- Stolen Girls- Young African American Girls taken from a line at the movie theatre and locked up for 45 days- parents didn’t know where they were taken.

Foley Lyman Law Group has a multi Plaintiff case against Nissan for Age Discrimination and Retaliation in the workplace. In our case, 100% of Nissan's compensation cuts were to older workers. Termination- adverse action based on age and salary is unlawful in California! The dedicated employees want Nissan to do the right thing and treat older workers fairly. I love holding companies responsible.

Imagine a country where there is no accountability for putting airbags in cars that don't work, no accountability for negligently allowing billions of barrels oil to destroy an entire seacoast, no accountability for falsely claiming cars are using clean diesel engines. Oh sure, the government might prosecute these companies, but the people whose lives were destroyed have no recourse. No! This country is not China, Russia or Iran. This country will be America next month if Co...ngress passes HR 985. Just by changing a few words in the class action laws, average Americans can no longer do anything when domestic and foreign corporations cheat them. It costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to take these companies to court when they cheat and injure us. The only way to hold them accountable is by bringing everyone together and suing them as a class action. They know this. So does Congress. They call it the Fairness in Class Action Litigation, bill. They left out the part about fairness for the victims. This bill is expected to pass if we don't do something. It passed through committee with no debate. If ever you have written or called your Congressman and asked them to represent you instead of companies that cheat, now is the time. (Thank you to R Rex Parris for this write up.)
