The beautiful, bright, and newly renovated Ijevan #1 Kindergarten not only brings encouragement for 180 children, but also for its staff and the community of Ijevan. The long-awaited grand re-opening of this kindergarten was a collaboration project between FAR (Fund For Armenian Relief) and FCN. FAR graciously took on the task of renovating the 55-year-old building, making it a safer and more welcoming place for all, while FCN's generous sponsors donated beds, bedding, and classroom furniture to benefit 180 children. We’re humbled to join forces with a like-minded organization such as FAR to accomplish such an impactful project. The common goal is to create a better tomorrow for our children and to provide access to attainable opportunities for the communities we serve.

On this day, January 28th, a day of commemoration for our heroes of Armenia and Artsakh, we believe one of the best ways to honor them, especially those missing in action, is by honoring their children. The trucks arrived Martuni yesterday, the local volunteers unloaded and prepared the packages with care based on the number of people in every family and distributed all day today; serving 650 people. ... We are grateful to the volunteer team of Norshin (Almast and Svetlana) for driving in very dangerous conditions with the sole purpose of helping our sisters and brothers receive non-perishable food supply for a month. We wish Svetlana and Almast a safe travel back home to Dillijan to their families.

We woke up today to this wonderful video from the all volunteer team of Norshin ( Norshin is the name of a village in the Martuni region of Artsakh with 300 residents). With help from our dedicated volunteers at Dillijan, FCN is getting ready to deliver one month supply of dry food to 650 people living in 2 villages of Martuni region in Artsakh.
