Registration Now Open for Flight Action Sports' Flag Football Spring Relaunch

Hey Guys, I wanted to touch base with all of you as it's been far too long since the last time I've done so. With all of the crazy things happening in our world these past few months I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy amongst everything going on. As of now, the plan is to still continue with what was/is the Winter 2020 season as soon as the school district, school sites, and/or City and County allows businesses and schools and leagues to do so. ... Below is the latest email I have received. During these crazy times we are all going through I have no control, unfortunately, over getting the go-ahead to officially get back on the field until permitted to do so. I am hoping that by the tentative June 30th start date listed (see announcement below), we can continue on with our current season. If we are able to start back up sooner than later, hopefully we can 'squeeze in' some form of a Summer season as well before mid to late September when we start our Fall season up. At this point in time, everything is still TBD. "As San Diego Unified School District continues to adjust to the impacts of COVID-19, the need for safety through social distancing warrants that we continue to keep our school campuses and administrative sites closed during this pandemic until further notice. The Real Estate & Rentals Office does not have the authorization to grant access entry into sites and the decision of when Civic Center rentals will resume is unknown. Currently, for the protection of our students, families and community, Civic Center rentals are discontinued through June 30, 2020, and may be extended. Until sites re-open, sites are not able to review/approve rental requests. Even if you have a previously approved rental request, no permits have been made for any events beginning July 1, so you will need to wait to begin any events until the event is permitted (not just approved by the site). I wish I had better news for everyone right now guys but this is what is happening in our world and it's been a tough journey thus far, especially since this is a big part of my livelihood.
