200,000 cats!!!!!! We're celebrating an incredible new milestone...200,000 cats fixed by FixNation programs! Our ambitious mission to help homeless cats in Los Angeles started out as a bi-monthly MASH-style clinic staffed by volunteer vets, vet techs and helpers. Today, a full-time staff at our permanent facility often take in more than 100 felines a day, four days a week.... We provide FREE spay/neuter surgery and basic medical care to community cats as well as low-cost surgery for companion cats. Aside from a brief period last spring, our doors have remained open during the Covid-19 crisis, offering urgently needed care at a time when most local vet clinics have suspended spay/neuter services. We are extremely proud of our pioneering work and grateful for our staff, our city- and county-wide network of volunteer trappers and caregivers, and our generous supporters and funding partners. Together, we are making Los Angeles a more compassionate place for ALL cats. Now we need your help to keep our mission going! FixNation receives no city or government funding to help homeless cats.
