Canyon Springs High School Band & Pageantry

After 11 months, music is back on campus! It's a start, but so glad to have our Percussion kids back. Did you hear them tonight? Color Guard joins us next Tuesday!

Calling all Percussionists and Color Guard! We can officially begin Band and Color Guard Conditioning in March. At this point, we will only start with Percussion and Color Guard. We do plan on bringing in our wind players at a later date. Please follow the link to bit.ly/MB-CG-STEPS to get signed up or contact Mr. Lozano for more information. All Safety Protocols set by the school district will be followed. This includes social distancing 6+ feet apart, use of face masks, and small cohorts up to 12 students. Thank you.

Please enjoy this collaborative holiday performance of Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson with the Vista Heights Middle School Advanced Band and our Canyon Springs Wind Ensemble! Every year we've made it a priority to work with our Middle School feeders with events like Middle School Band Night and Shared Concerts throughout the year. We're glad that we can continue that with this performance. UPDATED: Canyon Springs Virtual Learning Schedule

Wrapped up our first Virtual Band Camp this week with a Luau themed celebration. This week our students spent time in small and large groups working on music fundamentals as well as getting to know their peers. Our student leaders took on the challenge and lead stretches, workouts, sectionals, and ice breakers with the group. We couldn't have done it without all of their time and preparation. By coming together this week, we built relationships and strengthened the bonds of the CCR Band Family. We will continue to work together and help each other as we navigate this new school year. Go Cougars!

All Current Canyon Springs HS Band and Guard Members, though our Fall semester will look different this year, our 2020 Student Leadership and Staff still want to provide you a fun, enjoyable, and educational distance learning experience.
