We are known as an international organization, and have received volunteers from all around the world. But this is a new one! And we are excited! Recently we have had a beautiful chance to be part of ‘The Voice Of America Indonesia’ news. ... This was not only broadcasted in Indonesia but also in the USA and worldwide. All thanks to Vera Fuad, the wife of our accountant in the USA. ‘Since my kids left the house, I decided to crochet again and got addicted till now. 7 years ago, I started to make cute beanies for local children at a cancer hospital and expanded to the other parts of the world including Romania. Enduring the winter months of snow, we have finally finished the demolition process on our land in Budila. Lots of history has been moved to make new memories, and prayerfully see many generations of Roma children become more educated, as well as understanding how God is represented in their lives. This land yells out, "Build on me! I am ready to help make a difference!" We will be updating you with more ways to be a part of this exciting journey. Prayers are always appreciated! Love, FFR.

When we first set our eyes on the piece of land which we have since purchased (in 2019), one aspect that intrigued us was the big beautiful barn in the middle of the land. After much consideration for the new memories that are going to be made, we have decided to remove the barn due to its strategic location on the central part of the property. But the legacy of the barn will live on as we will save the wood and beams to eventually build a gazebo, and dear friends of ours who... worked in Budila before also decided to buy some of the wood and make this barn live on forever. It has been over a year now, that we have not had any volunteers coming from abroad. It has been hard. We are missing all those beautiful faces and smiles as they love the babies and bless the hospital staff. One of the many blessings especially from Northern America were scrubs, that volunteers would bring over for the hospital staff. We have none left but being asked daily by the staff. ... Like in every country during these times, hospital staff work on their limits. We want to bless them with your help for all their hard work. It’s time for a new scrub drive!!!! Anyone on board? We are looking for colorful scrubs (can be 2nd hand) all sizes. Thanks to a beautiful family from the States who volunteered with us back in 2019, we have a place were the scrubs can be sent to. They will ship them to Romania. So if you come across scrubs or want to help with shipping costs, please contact us! It will make their day!!!

This week started the next phase of the demolition process on our land in Budila. Through rain and snow, the workers continue to bulldoze the old remaining buildings that were once inhabited, filling up truck after truck of unwanted rubble. One boy from Budila who is enrolled in our program yelled out to one of the workers, "Are you building our after school building"? The worker responded... "Yup!"
