Walmart is the world’s largest food retailer in the world so this is a big deal. Bees and other pollinators are responsible for one in three bites of food we eat. Scientists accross the world are warning that we are in the midst of an insect apocalypse, due in large part to the overuse of toxic pesticides. Another fraudulant attempt by Monsanto/Bayer! Does anything surprise you? The lawyers who led the nationwide U.S. Roundup litigation through three trial victories and forced Monsanto owner Bayer AG into an $11 billion settlement have notified a federal court that they have uncovered evidence of fraud in a secret deal between Monsanto and a lone plaintiff’s lawyer who has not been active in the litigation until recently. Happy Earth Day from Food Integrity Now

A new study released April 6, 2021, in the Journal of Applied Ecology reveals that Roundup, the most widely used herbicide in the world, and the focus of recent lawsuits regarding non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, is not just a weedkiller but a bee killer as well. This study is monumental because the decline of bee populations has been drastically declining since Roundup was introduced to agriculture, landscaping, and backyard gardening in the late 1970s. In the US, the number of honey-bee colonies dropped from 6 million in 1947 to just 2.5 million in 2014. If you are living in wildfire areas like California, Oregon, and Colorado, you know air quality is a huge issue right now.
