It is an honor that Geeta works as a steering committee member and FALC member since 2016. Her recognition by City of Cupertino is a testament to her contemporary and impressionist art styles. FINE ARTS LEAGUE OF CUPERTINO (www.falc.org) ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Join us for our most enjoyable yearly event! It has been a FALC tradition for several years to come together and paint Holiday posters/ Greeting cards which will be donated to the Pleasant View Convalescent home in Cupertino. This year, the holiday party is happening on Friday, December 18th from 7:00 - 9:00pm. We’ll be hosting it virtually via Zoom or Ringcent...ral (TBD). The dress code is going to be red colored and also bring a Santa Claus hat, holiday bells, and other holiday decorations or attire if you have it. In terms of the activities, we’ll be painting greeting cards, chatting with each other and will donate those cards whenever time permits after this COVID pandemic is over. This time, we are requesting donations for $10 - $20 (or any amount) and this will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank. THIS PARTY IS FOR A GOOD CAUSE, PLEASE JOIN. Mr. Preston James Metcalf (FB: Preston Metcalf)... Executive Director at Trion Museum of Arts Judge Introduction: As Chief Curator and Executive Director of the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara, CA, Preston Metcalf has worked with many of the most renowned artists in the country, showcasing their works in exhibitions and publications. In addition to his curatorial role, he helped create innovative art and art history education programs for public schools and children’s hospitals, providing free programming and classes for thousands of kids, teens, and adults. He has lectured internationally on art and art history and published more than sixty essays and articles on artists and their work. He is a regular lecturer of Art History at colleges and universities throughout the region.
