Hair so long it doesn’t fit in the feed!! This long time client was ready to lighten up and we are LOVING the results! I am seeing lots of ladies going lighter and the reason is that they want to be a little closer in level (how dark it is) to what actually grows out of their head. And why lighter? Because they have a little, or a lot, of gray! The closer in level, the less noticeable the outgrowth will be, and that means a little longer between sessions!... I prefer an 8-16 week maintenance schedule for clients as I find that this delivers the most healthy and classy looking hair.

There are so many things that I’m grateful for about this career, but the number one is the amazing women I get to meet. We find our greatness in the quiet moments, when no one is looking. And greatness isn’t one set way, it is flourishing in the hand you’ve been dealt. Sessions. They do wonders. I am a session stylist. What does that mean? Well I think I made it up, at least, I haven’t heard of it before. What do I mean when I say that? I charge by the session. That means I have a certain amount of product, effort and time allocated to a session. I don’t break it up by a goal, or a certain technique, like highlights. I know too many techniques and use them fluidly in every single service to break it up fairly. ... I offer a look and experience that will meet your needs as efficiently as possible in one sesh. I don’t do transformations but sometimes you do look transformed in one sitting because it fit within the allocated time, effort and product allotment. This is how I make it fair for each guest but also allow for the ultimate creativity in each session. You pay for me and my approach. The more sessions, the better the result. This gal came to me overhighlighted and wanting dimension. One year later, we have a consistent beautiful result- she was along the way but the more my sessions happened on her hair, the better the result. Session hairstyling is about trusting the stylist to deliver maximum creativity every time. It is about trust and I’m loving the freedom my simple pricing allows for the client.
