The Judicial Council of California voted to lift the temporary ban on evictions, which will stay in effect through midnight September 1, 2020. As a result, unless the California’s legislative and/or executive branches come up with eviction measures in a swift manner, California State Courts will resume eviction cases on September 2, 2020.
